Growing up in a domestic violence environment and barely surviving a horrific family tragedy, women’s empowerment is a priority in Demetria’s life. Helping those in need and giving back to the community is priority for Demetria. She is a lifetime mentor for a teenage match through Big Brothers and Sisters, a committee member of OC United Way’s Women United devoted to fighting for the education, health, housing and financial stability of every women, child and family in Orange County.
Demetria knows that working at KHERUT is God’s way of showing her why she survived and is still alive today.
