Why Successful Men Still Struggle to Stay in Shape — and Why Discipline Isn’t the Real Problem

Many successful men are disciplined, capable, and highly effective in their careers, yet still struggle to create lasting change in their health and fitness. In this engaging presentation, Vincent Hausman explains why the problem often isn’t a lack of knowledge or willpower, but the deeper patterns of identity, recovery, and structure that shape long-term behavior.

Drawing from more than 12 years of coaching experience, Vincent introduces practical concepts such as identity-based change, the “Reset Gap,” and designing routines and environments that make healthy behavior easier to sustain. Attendees will leave with a new framework for understanding consistency, self-trust, and how to make physical transformation last.

His work focuses on a question many high-performing people struggle with: why is it possible to be disciplined and successful in so many areas of life, yet still struggle to make health and fitness stick? Vincent’s approach combines practical fitness and nutrition strategies with identity work, habit design, resilience, and self-leadership to help people create lasting change rather than another temporary reset.
