Background

Bio

Stephanie Adams is the founder of Carrick Curators and a cultural-enrichment speaker based in Long Beach, California. Her presentations examine the history and human stories carried by familiar foods, customs, gardens, hospitality traditions and everyday rituals.

Her work is informed by independent international travel, cultural research and a longstanding interest in how traditions reveal what communities value. She has presented cultural programs for garden-club and community-based adult audiences in Southern California. Her talks include *Fruits of the World: Heritage, Culture & Flavor Across Continents* and *Hospitality Across Cultures: Lessons in Connection & Care*.

Stephanie combines storytelling, historical context and guided discussion to make cultural subjects accessible to general audiences. Rather than simply presenting facts, she invites participants to consider familiar things from a different perspective, exchange observations and recognize the common human needs reflected across cultures.

Her programs are nonpolitical, suitable for diverse adult audiences and adaptable to Rotary luncheon and community-program formats.
