Overview

I am a TEDx speaker, award-winning author, attorney with 27 years of experience, entrepreneur, and founder of Kozy Wheels, a purpose-driven company committed to improving the lives of individuals who use wheelchairs.
My journey has been one of resilience, leadership, and reinvention. Having overcome significant personal and professional adversity, including an abusive marriage, divorce, single motherhood, major health challenges, and rebuilding my life and businesses, I have developed a deep understanding of what it means to lead through uncertainty and emerge stronger.
Professionally, I built and led a successful legal practice, worked with major corporations, and transitioned into speaking, coaching, and entrepreneurship. My work focuses on emotional intelligence, resilience, and empowering individuals to navigate change with confidence and clarity.
I am also the author of SAFE from the Pain, in which I introduce my S.A.F.E. Method, a framework for navigating adversity, managing emotional challenges, and moving forward with purpose.
I have appeared on KTLA and FOX, participated in numerous podcasts, and delivered presentations to corporate and professional audiences.
I was particularly drawn to CASBO's Women in Leadership Conference because of its emphasis on confidence, communication, trust, influence, and helping women grow as leaders.
I would welcome the opportunity to contribute as a keynote speaker, panelist, or workshop facilitator.
A few speaking topics that may resonate with your audience include:
Leadership Through Adversity: Building Emotional Resilience When Life and Work Collide
The Power of Reinvention: Confidence, Courage, and Leading Through Change
Beyond the Title: How Emotional Intelligence Shapes Exceptional Leaders
From Surviving to Thriving: Applying the S.A.F.E. Method to Leadership and Personal Growth
Purpose-Driven Leadership: Turning Challenges Into Innovation and Meaningful Impact
My presentations combine compelling personal storytelling with practical tools audiences can immediately apply in their professional and personal lives.
I would be delighted to discuss how my experience and message might complement your conference programming.
Could you kindly let me know whether you are currently considering speakers for the 2027 conference and what your speaker selection process entails?
I would be happy to share my TEDx talk, speaker biography, media appearances, and additional materials.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to this important event and connecting with the remarkable women in your community.
Warm regards,
