I'm Fred Salas. I’m a father, a real estate professional, and a professional speaker—but more importantly, I’m the father of a young man named Jack who passed away at 10 years old and went on to save 5 lives through organ donation.
I share a powerful message called "The Ten Year Gift"—it’s about legacy, leadership, and how one decision can impact generations.

Fred Salas is a keynote speaker, veteran California real estate professional, television and radio sports broadcaster, and co-founder of the Live Like Jack Foundation. For nearly four decades, Fred has built a successful career helping people navigate some of life's biggest decisions while also serving as the play-by-play voice for hundreds of televised sporting events. Everything changed on February 1, 2018, when Fred and his wife lost their 10-year-old son, Jack, following a sudden asthma attack. In the midst of unimaginable grief, they made the courageous decision to donate Jack's organs, saving the lives of five people. That experience forever transformed Fred's understanding of purpose, resilience, and the extraordinary impact that one life can have on countless others. Inspired by Jack's classmates, who declared, "We should all live like Jack," Fred co-founded the Live Like Jack Foundation to promote organ donation, inspire servant leadership, and encourage others to live lives of compassion, courage, and significance.
