No Child deserves a trash bag! I founded Project Foster in February 2023. We provide a suitcase filled with 20 essentials to Orange County foster and at risk children ages 3-21. We partner with the County of Orange family and child services to provide a suitcase, sets of clothing, pjs, dental kits, soap, shampoo. hairbrush, deodorant, a throw blanket, sheet set, school supplies, books and a handwritten letter of encouragement to a child in crisis, demonstrating love and concern, breaking the cycle of trauma. We have been lauded by OC presiding judges, DAWN District DA’s and awarded the top Kindness award from the city of Laguna Beach. We do this with community support, and we have very low overhead.
