Summary of the presentation:
ShelterBox started as a single club’s annual International Service Project in 2000. Now, as Rotary International’s official partner in disaster relief, ShelterBox delivers shelter and much more to hundreds of thousands of people every year. This presentation will look at how ShelterBox operates today, and the impact we have on those affected by disaster and conflict.
About the presenter:
Bill Tobin is Rotary Relations Manager for ShelterBox USA. Since joining Rotary in 2004, Bill has been active in club and district leadership roles. He is a seven-time recipient of the United States Presidential Volunteer Service award. Bill learned about ShelterBox in 2010, became an active ShelterBox Ambassador and joined the staff full time in January 2019.
