Rotary International and Peace Corps share the mission of service to others. In fact, in 2015 both organizations joined forces in a strategic partnership to promote global development and volunteer service. By working together, Rotary members along with active and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers enhance goodwill, international understanding, and build capacity in communities around the world. I’d be happy to speak about my Volunteer experience, discuss the PC/RI partnership in more detail, share ideas on how we can collaborate, and speak about the opportunities Americans (including Older Americans) have to volunteer overseas in one of 62 countries where Peace Corps serves.
