Amy regularly speaks at Rotary clubs and leadership events to discuss the power of using media, getting comfortable with being on camera, and presenting ourselves and our organization. These tools cannot only help Rotary clubs’ specific missions, but also the individual members for their businesses and personal outreach. Amy was the 2022 Keynote at the SW PETS, 5320 Leadership conference, and the upcoming ZONE Institute 2023. Amy’s mission is for no Rotarian to ever be asked again “what is Rotary”? Utilizing today’s media and digital world, we can make a greater impact in our clubs, communities and the world.

Amy Scruggs is a nationally recognized media coach and communications strategist with over 20 years of experience helping executives, entrepreneurs, and teams master their messaging and on-camera presence. As the Executive Media Coach and company media personality for Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, Amy provided training and coaching across all corporate levels, empowering leaders to deliver confident and impactful communication in high-stakes environments. A former TV host and network interviewer, Amy has coached hundreds of professionals in finance, healthcare, technology, and nonprofit leadership, equipping them with the tools to excel in presentations, media appearances, and public speaking engagements. She also serves as the Assistant Public Image Director for Rotary International, Zone 26 (Western U.S.), where she supports clubs and districts in elevating their visibility, brand storytelling, and media presence. In addition to her corporate and nonprofit leadership work, Amy is a country recording artist with a career spanning over two decades, performing alongside industry legends and earning major media recognition—including features in the New York Times and PBS. She is also a keynote speaker and trainer for organizations nationwide, helping leaders and teams communicate with clarity, confidence, and influence.
