Hear the Story … Taste the Wines … Take the Journey ! Founder David Dees grew up in Paso Robles where he attended St. Rose Catholic School and served as an altar boy at St. Rose of Lima Church. Little did David know that his wine journey would start with a stolen sip of the sacramental wine which led him to make a big bold Zin. Today, his only sin is making amazing wines to pair and share together. The first leg of his journey took him to France where he studied to become a Pastry Chef in Provence. Upon his return, he went to work for the famed Pebble Beach Resort. David was given an amazing opportunity to return to France and learn about wine and winemaking. It was then that David’s passion for wine was uncorked and he’s been “Cheers-ing” ever since. Over 30 years later, after being mentored by some of the Master Winemakers in the world and building successful wine companies David knew the time had come to create his own wines from Sonoma. He named them Allons Ensemble which means “Let’s Go Together” in honor of everyone in France who taught him about wine, a dream captured in bottles, branded with memories, and filled with love. That love took on a new meaning. On the first day of 2024 Wine Guy David asked the question and Wine Gal Shawn said YES! Save the date for Wine Guy and Wine Gal tying the knot in June of 2025. David believes that wine is not meant to be scored but savored. Yet even he can’t help being pleased knowing Wine Guy & Wine Gal was voted as one of the top new wine companies from the Sonoma Valley.
